White hair. A little overweight.

And then mid way through my 4th pizza slice with cheese dripping down my hands

He went”

After that? It’s game over.”

“What the fuck?” I thought.

What does that even mean?

Is that real, or just billionaire talk?

But he kept going.

Didn’t smile. Didn’t blink.

“The window’s open now. Tools are accessible. Attention’s cheap.

But in a few years?

The doors close.

And only the ones already inside will get to stay rich.

And he wasn’t being dramatic.

He was calm.

Certain.

Like a man who already watched it play out, and was just warning you before it hits.

He said most people will miss the wave because they’re still waiting to feel ready.

Still “trying to figure it out.”

Still playing when they should be building.

“Eventually doesn’t exist anymore,” he said.

“You move now. Or you disappear later.”
